Great lid for sandpit

This lid holds the cover up and stops it sinking when it rains so keeps most of the water and debris out of the sand. Keeps it all clean for next playtime. Also keeps pets out. A great investment.

Though it’s not really needed as the sandpit comes complete with a cover, it does make a big difference.
Looks so much nicer with the lid and safer with climbing toddlers as it’s sturdy

Hexagon 1.2 sand pit.

It was constructed this weekend and the children seem to like it.
7 and 5 year oldsm I wish I HAD bought the 1.5 , but time will tell.
I think it was easy to construct and the pit is strong and the wood smooth. The under cloth looks good as it is wide enough to collect the sand which will inevitably spill out.

The wooden lid is a great optional extra for the Hexagonal wooden sandpit - covers the sandpit as well as creating a make shift table or solid surface for multiple uses
The sandpit lid is made from solid wood and is treated to ensure it lasts a long time
The lid simply lays on top of the sandpit providing protection from debris such a leaves and twigs, as well as making it a solid surface to put things on when the sandpit is not in use such a flower pots
Having your sandpit covered is essential to keeping your sand clean and your children healthy. (unfortunately many cats will see a sandpit as a giant litter tray!)
