Really impressed with the quality of this set. Found it difficult to find a backgammon set in my price range but this was ideal and especially good value with Black Friday deal.

Really happy with this set. Have used it to learn how to play Backgammon comfortably, ie. it's a really decent size. I scoured the web for the best compromise between size, price, quality and availability (including eBay auctions) and this one is a complete no-brainer; there is no compromise to note. Minor niggle: the overall colour scheme is quite dark, which is fine with me but the deep grey/black tones of the Points form a poor colour contrast with the black Counters, to my eye. That's nitpicking on my part. I can absolutely recommend this set. Unless you're an aficionado or tournament-level player, then like me you will never need anything beyond your 'first' set and I'm really glad I got this one. It is constructed very well, has a solid weight and feel to it; good finish and fit all round, actually feels a bit plush. Pricewise it is an absolute bargain but it looks and feels like a much pricier item. Good, honest product and purchase/delivery was swift and pain-free. I recommend it (and the supplier) with no reservations.
The backgammon set was bought as a present so I am unable to comment on it when playing. However, I was very pleased with the quality of the board, pieces and containers, as is the recipient.
Bought a backgammon set for my partner for his birthday. Communication and delivery were great, however the box was delivered while I was at work and my partner was at home. I wasn't expecting the box to be printed with the contents, so it spoilt any surprise. That felt a bit disappointing. , 😕
